No, your certification does not require renewal. However, as tax technology continues to evolve, we periodically update our course content to reflect both current and future developments. These updates are included in new course editions, ensuring that each program remains aligned with the latest industry standards.
Participants who do not pass the certification exam are entitled to one re-sit attempt within their course access period for the Yellow, Orange, and Light Green Belt programs.
For the Dark Green Belt, Black Belt Seasoned, and Black Belt Standard certifications, re-sit opportunities are available only upon consultation and approval by the team of experts.
Participants have 12 months of access to all course materials, starting from the initial activation of their course access. Certification completion does not affect this period; course content remains fully accessible throughout the 12-month duration.
The program is designed to support both individual professional development and team-based training initiatives. Organizations can use it to enhance the collective capabilities of their tax or finance teams, while individual participants can benefit from structured learning paths tailored to their own career progression.
The e-Bright Belt System Training Program for Tax Technology is designed to support the continuous professional development of tax professionals operating at the intersection of tax, data, and technology.
The Belt System is considered conceptually aligned with continuing professional education objectives by the CFE and NOB. The content focuses on substantive developments in tax workflows, digital compliance, data governance, and tax technology, rather than purely technical or IT training. From that perspective, it fits within broader reference points used by professional bodies when assessing whether training contributes to maintaining and enhancing professional tax competence.

That said, e-Bright does not claim formal or automatic accreditation. The acceptance of Belt System courses for continuing education credits ultimately remains at the discretion of the relevant bar, chamber, or professional body, in line with their own rules and assessment procedures. As is common practice, professionals are encouraged to submit the course details to their governing body for confirmation.
